SUNY New Paltz will welcome distinguished alumna Myra Kressner ’76 (Secondary 教育: English) back to campus on May 19, 2024, to deliver the Commencement Address at our Sunday Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony.
The Department of Theatre 艺术s extends its warmest congratulations to Jack Wade, a professor of design and theatre history and past department chair, on his upcoming retirement. In his 25-year tenure at SUNY New Paltz, Jack has been a distinguished mentor of many 设计师 and 表演者 who have gone on to work in the professional theatre, 电视, and film industries.
The Samuel Dorsky Museum of 艺术 at SUNY New Paltz is pleased to announce that Catskill-area artist Aki Goto is the recipient of the 2024 Hudson Valley 艺术ists Purchase Award. The Dorsky will acquire Goto’s pen ink and colored pencil drawing on paper, “Roomie Shots” (2022), which is being exhibited in the “Hudson Valley 艺术ists 2024: Bibliography” exhibition.
